Art

This dry white wine is inspirationally vital. The famous sculpture „Die Liegende“
by Henry Moore situated in front of the Ruhrfestspielhaus Recklinghausen
symbolizes these characteristic attributes. By this means „Art“ represents the
intense and manifold artistic, cultural and scientific landscape in the Ruhr area.
We chose this white Riesling because it is definitely one of the finest grape
varieties worldwide. Specially the Mosel Riesling provides a typical and delicate
flavour, which has to be named unique. Our „Art“ was grown by a family run
estate at the river Mosel.

Coal

This dark red, substantial and dry red wine represents the most famous and
oldest product of the Ruhr area – the black coal. „Barbera“ as name of the
grape variety reminds as well the holy Barbara, „guardian angel“ of the coal
miners. Last but not least: Coal in german language can, in a slang version,
mean “money” – and for a small amount of that you will certainly get the wine at
„Molitor’s“.  Our „Coal“ was grown in the north of Italy. The region named
Piedmont became home for two enthusiastic winemakers with Westphalian roots.
